Collingwood has resisted the temptation to select skipper Nathan Buckley this week, and has instead given the champion an extra fortnight off to rest his hamstring.

Ryan Lonie is the sole change to the line-up which knocked off Geelong last week, coming in to replace suspended forward Chris Egan.

Buckley has however been named as an emergency, along with Jason Cloke and Matthew Lokan.
