With much senior experience set to miss, Collingwood's youngsters will be given an opportunity to shine in Friday night's Wizard Cup opener against Richmond at the Telstra Dome.

Nathan Buckley, Tarkyn Lockyer, Alan Didak and Brodie Holland will all miss the knock-out match, leaving the side's usual midfield setup looking very bare.

Youngsters Travis Cloke and Chris Egan (pictured) are said to be very much in the mix, with speedsters Zane Leonard and Sean Rusling also a realistic chance to pull on the black and white for the first time.
